REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS (w/o Mirror Heater)
(a) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
(b) Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.
(c) Using a moulding remover, push the bottom of the glass upwards as shown in the illustration. Slide the glass upwards to detach the 4 claws, and remove the outer rear view mirror glass.
2. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS (w/ Mirror Heater)
(a) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
(b) Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.
(c) Using a moulding remover, push the bottom of the glass upwards as shown in the illustration. Slide the glass upwards to detach the 4 claws, and remove the outer rear view mirror glass.
(d) Disconnect the connectors.
